Together, GAMI (the association of young adult friends of museums in Italy) and each participating museum’s young adult Friends Association group propose a weekend with the theme of Museums as meeting places for cultures.
Speechati – the young adults group of the Friends of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum – will participate with an event in Italian dedicated to the theme of hospitality as a starting point for getting to know other cultures and for comparing them with our own.
The theme is perfect for the Bagatti Valsecchi home, which, thanks to Fausto and Giuseppe, opened its doors to visitors long before it became a museum enjoyed by the general public. In fact, over one of the entrance doors the brothers had this charming motto carved: AMICIS SEMPER LIBENS PATEBO (I will always willingly be open for friends).
