To look at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum with new eyes, playfully discovering the details and the colors of the rooms and the collections. This is the objective of Silent Book, a little book realized thanks to the generous contribution of the Fondazione Cologni Dei Mestieri D’Arte, accessible to all visitors because it is without linguistic and cultural barriers.

Inspired by the Wordless Book for kids, which recounts an easily understood story solely through the use of images, this little, but intriguing, volume realized by the museum invites visitors to interpret the details and the objects of the collections that embellish this historic house, to get lost in the atmospheric rooms of the museum, to submerge oneself in the experience of sought after details and colors. The geometry of ceilings and flooring mix with details of seats, coffers and musical intruments. Marble fringes, woven flowers blooming in textiles, wooden decorations: have you already noticed them?

The book will be handed out as a gift during the evening “Aperitif al Fresco” on Thursday the 6th of October from 7 to 9:30 P.M. to visitors acquiring the entrance ticket of 10 Euros to enter the rooms, receive the Silent Book, and enjoy leafing through it and finding the depicted details in the enchanting rooms of the museum. To round off the evening, an aperitif – offered by Rovida e Signorelli – will be served on the museum terrace.
