Beginning in November 2019, the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum collaborates with ACTL – Association for Culture and Free Time in the realization of the project F.ED.O.RA-Training and diagnostics (digital) for artistic restoration of works of art, in line with the Lombardia Plus cultural program of 2019/2020. The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund.
The initiative lets the museum carry on training opportunities (in Italian) for young adults, in this case with lectures by three members of the staff (Lucia Pini, conservator; Laura Bugliosi, marking and funding; Benedetta Marchesi, communication) tied to the themes of museum careers, conservation and communication.
Project F.ED.O.RA proposes two programs to train young adults to be experts in the sectors of art and culture, focusing on digital skills applied to the world of art. The training courses that are part of the project are:
- CONSULTANT for the ART MARKET – focussing on the digital dimension: 200 hours of lectures and 120 hours of internship (beginning 27 Nov 2019)
- TECHNICIAN for CULTURAL PATRIMONY – focussing on the digital dimension: 400 hours of lectures and 200 hours of internship (beginning February 2020)
Two young students of the CONSULTANT course are also working as interns at the museum.
