In honor of Green City Milano and the Days of European Patrimony 2017, the Historic House Museums Circuit of Milan, together with Speechati of the Friends of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum Association, and the Friends of the Poldi Pezzoli Museum and of the Pini Foundation – Milanese stories, propose Green Bike Tour to discover courtyards and gardens of participating historic house museums and artists’ studios. Free-of-charge, the initiative is for young adults from 18 to 35 years of age, who have a BikeMi or a personal bike. (Maximum number of participants: 100 people)
During the Green Bike Tour participants receive: free entrance to participating historic house museums and artists’ studios (Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, Boschi Di Stefano Historic House Museum, Poldi Pezzoli Museum, Pini Foundation, Friends of Lalla Romano Association, Mario Negri Association for Sculpture, Franco Albini Foundation, and the Alik Cavaliere Artistic Center). Some locations have material in English. Event materials and commentary are in Italian.
The tour will take place on Sunday, September 24, beginning at 3 PM from the Boschi Di Stefano Historic House Museum in via Giorgio Jan 15, where a map of the other participating places will be given. Participants can choose their own locations to visit and ways to arrive and at the same time discover the green heart of Milan. The initiative concludes at 6 PM with a toast at the Alik Cavaliere Artistic Center in via Edmondo De Amicis 17.
In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled.
