Organized in honor of the 150th anniversary of the first treaty of friendship and commerce between the Italian monarchy and the Japanese empire, the exhibit follows the fortunes of the paintings, seriographs and illustrations of Hokusai, Hiroshige and Utamaro, who knew how to distill in their pieces the essence of an ancient culture.
