Keep an eye out!
Celebrate Milanese-ness at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum by participating in Fà ballà l’oeugg! (roughly, “Keep an eye out!”), the museum’s collaboration during the fourth edition of Se parla milanes (roughly, “Milanese is spoken”). The event (in Milanese) is dedicated to highlighting the Milanese dialect, and is promoted by Milano da Vedere.
Coincidentally on Friday the 13th this year, Fà ballà l’oeugg! and Se parla milanes provide a game kit to participants to test their knowledge of the Milanese dialect and to explore the rooms of the museum while having fun. If you get stumped, you can count on the help of the Friends of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum (maybe even in a bit of English), as if they were the butlers and governesses of the Bagatti in the grand Milanese tradition. At the end of the visit, those with the best results will be given a gift from the museum’s shop.
Participating in the initiative (in Italian and Milanese) is free – it’s included in the price of the museum entrance ticket.
