A new architecture and building workshop in collaboration with BrianzaLUG – Brianza LEGO® User Group is at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum thanks to the support of LEGO®, the creator of their architecture line. It’s fun for families, who can follow a special guided tour of the museum focused on building, and then participate, together, in the workshop to realize structures, objects and accessories inspired by the Neo-Renaissance collections of the Bagatti Valsecchi brothers.
Just like works displayed and shared for everyone’s benefit in all museums, the little bricks of the workshop are “on display,” and so they can’t be taken away: an important lesson for learning that beautiful things can be enjoyed without having to possess them, necessarily. For the occasion, reproductions – done with the legendary little bricks – of some of the most important works of the museum will be on display: the skull clock, a cross bow, and the canopy bed.
BrianzaLUG is an independent community of LEGO® – AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO®) Lego fans, which was born in 2012 when a group of friends were brought together by their passion for LEGO® and their geographic location (Brianza, Basso Comasco, Varesotto). They began to meet informally, but pretty regularly. BrianzaLUG is a community open only to LEGO® fans who want to belong and who demonstrate the same willingness and spirit of initiative of the current members.
