It’s the first exhibit dedicated to Italy’s contribution to Romanticism, which changed the sensibility and imagination of the occidental world in the first half of the 19th century. More than 200 works by the most important Romantic artists have been gathered, many from private collections such as that of Lucia Mondella by Eliseo Sala, courtesy of the Bagatti Valsecchi family.
