Now open once again, the stairway on the via Santo Spirito side has been returned to its original splendor. It leads from the Atrium to the first, or noble, floor of the museum. The walls were reinforced and cleaned in order to put back up the large polyptych by the Marinoni, as well as the smaller one featuring the Virgin and Christ Child Enthroned, with saints, by a Lombard painter of the 16^th century.
