A large exhibit of 180 works – some never before shown to the public – coming from important museums all over the world will present the art of this great French master, and underscore its extraordinary modernity. Lautrec’s profound understanding of Japanese art, his passion for photography, his love for nightlife and his fascination for shows profoundly influenced his poetic, changing forever the rapport of the artist with society.
