It’s an open conversation (in Italian) between the public, the Turkish Nobel Prize-winning writer Orhan Pamuk and Salvatore Settis, archaeologist and art historian. Held in the Auditorium Testori of the Palazzo Lombardia in Milan in honor of the exhibit Love, Museums and Inspiration. Orhan Pamuk’s Museum of Innocence in Milan, set up at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum from January 19 to June 24.
The conversation will have as its springboard the rapport between Pamuk and Milan, and will center on reflecting on the relationships between art, museums and literature partly in honor of the publication of A dream in Milan. Dialogues with Orhan Pamuk (Un sogno fatto a Milano. Dialoghi con Orhan Pamuk) published in Italian by Johan&Levi.
Promoted and supported by the Region of Lombardy, the encounter is part of the Year of Culture #inLOMBARDIA with the objective of bringing citizens nearer to the themes of culture and to a better understanding of Lombardy’s artistic and cultural patrimony.
