A chat about calligraphy, organized by the Friends of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum together with ACI (the Italian calligraphy association), will be an interesting chance to explore this theme so close in spirit to the museum’s digital exhibit, “Sign here, please”.

Francesca Biasetton – calligrapher and president of ACI – and Alex Barocco – calligrapher, graphic artist, and teacher at ACI and IED Milano – will accompany us for this exploration of letter writing. The event will be moderated by Lucia Pini – conservator of the museum and curator of the exhibit.

A light cocktail realized in collaboration with Iuta Bistrot will follow the conversation.

The multimedia exhibit “Sign here, please” offers a glimpse – sometimes humorous, sometimes serious, sometimes out-of-the-ordinary or even odd – of some people who signed the early Bagatti Valsecchi family guest books. It is open until the 10th of March.
