GAM, Milan’s Gallery of Modern Art, is currently holding an exhibit, “Adolfo Wildt (1868-1931). The Last Symbolist”. The visit highlights the most significant nuclei of his sculptoral collections.
From the 27th of November, 2015, to the 14th of February, 2016, the exhibit – realized with the extraordinary collaboration of the Musées d’Orsay and the Orangerie of Paris – presents a view of the Milanese sculptor’s exploration of plasticity and materials thanks to 55 works in gesso, marble, and bronze, accompanied by a series of original drawings and comparisons with works by other artists, for example, Antonio Canova, Fausto Melotti, Lucio Fontana and Arrigo Minerbi.
