A photographic story of Fortunato Depero in his works and life
Through a selection of numerous photographs from his archive, the exhibition retraces some of the stages in Depero's life, highlighting little-known aspects. The title refers to the monograph he published in 1940, which corresponds to the final years of Futurism and a moment of creative transition highlighted in the exhibition. Prints and plates immortalise iconic moments in his life, his incessant self-promotion and much of his multifaceted production, including various types of installations. The photographs also bring to light works that have been lost or immortalised in various stages or contexts, revealing behind-the-scenes details and curiosities, providing a close-up view of the artist's spirit and work.
