L'Agnese va a morire
A middle-aged laundress is dragged against her will into fighting a war that is not hers. After her husband is deported, Agnese becomes increasingly aware of her place in history, taking an active part in the Resistance. Her gaze, which reveals the meaninglessness and cruelty of war, becomes our own. Based on the novel by Renata Viganò, who was among the first to re-evaluate the role of women in the Resistance, Cinzia Spanò brings to the stage a tribute to those who fought for freedom.
